Small comforts that make a big difference
Towel warmers are located in resident bathing areas to provide a warm towel after bathing, supporting comfort, dignity, and a sense of calm during care routines
Throughout the day, warmers can also be used to provide heated blankets, which many residents find calming, soothing, and reassuring
To ensure all residents benefit equally, towel and blanket warmers are planned for each of our seven neighbourhoods
Thanks to generous donor support, 3 of 7 towel and blanket warmers are already in place, with the goal of acquiring 4 additional units, along with blankets for every resident
The cost to equip one neighbourhood with a towel/blanket warmer and blankets is $7,000 making the total project cost $28.000.
