This year’s 11th Annual Spruce Lodge Car Show included a new tradition and a very special full-circle moment for our community. For the first time, Spruce Lodge residents had the opportunity to vote for their favourite vehicle at the show. Residents of Woodland Towers recently enjoyed a wonderful evening together at a Backyard BBQ hosted at Activity Coordinator Karen Goforth’s home. Karen, her husband Dwayne, and her sister Lucille warmly welcomed everyone for an evening filled with good food, beautiful surroundings and great company. This summer, residents at Spruce Lodge have been enjoying regular opportunities to get creative through Art-to-Heart, a local program run by post-secondary student Lucy Webster. Art-to-Heart provides art lessons, tutoring and respite services for people of all ages.
