A Wonderful Backyard BBQ for Woodland Towers Residents
Residents of Woodland Towers recently enjoyed a wonderful evening together at a Backyard BBQ hosted at Activity Coordinator Karen Goforth’s home.
Karen, her husband Dwayne, and her sister Lucille warmly welcomed everyone for an evening filled with good food, beautiful surroundings and great company.
Residents enjoyed a delicious hamburger supper with all the fixings, followed by a refreshing ice cream treat for dessert.
The gardens were also a highlight of the evening. Dwayne, the family’s talented gardener, starts many of the flowers from seed each year, and the results were truly beautiful. Residents had the opportunity to take in the colourful gardens and enjoy the peaceful outdoor setting.
To make the evening even more special, everyone had the chance to meet Copper, the family dog, who quickly became a favourite among the group.
It was a memorable evening filled with laughter, conversation and time spent together.
